Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar, two of Mexico's most popular music stars, have broken up after two months of dating. Aguilar confirmed the news on her social media accounts on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
"It is with a heavy heart that I confirm that Christian and I have decided to end our relationship," Aguilar wrote in a statement posted to her Instagram account. "This was a difficult decision, but we believe it is the best for both of us. We will always cherish the time we spent together and wish each other the best in the future."
Nodal has not yet publicly commented on the breakup.
The couple announced their relationship in May 2023, and their fans were quick to speculate that they would eventually get married. However, sources close to the couple say that they were never engaged and that their relationship was based on friendship and mutual respect.
