Team USA's men's basketball team took care of business on Wednesday, defeating South Sudan 110-66 in their Olympic quarterfinal matchup. The win sends the Americans to the semifinals, where they will face Brazil on Friday.
Team USA's dominance
Team USA was dominant from the start, jumping out to a 20-point lead in the first quarter and never looking back. Kevin Durant led the way for the Americans with 22 points, while Jayson Tatum added 19 and Damian Lillard chipped in 18.
South Sudan was led by Ngor Kuath, who had 16 points and 12 rebounds. However, the South Sudanese were overmatched by the Americans' size and athleticism.
